Neurologist Responsibilities:
- Provide expert diagnosis and management of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Perform detailed neurological examinations to assess cognitive function, motor skills, sensory abilities, cranial nerves, and autonomic functions.
- Accurately perform EMG/NCS and EEG diagnostic studies.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, and other neuroimaging studies like MRI and CT scans, to confirm diagnoses and formulate treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies for neurological conditions.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle changes and rehabilitation efforts to improve patient health.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
