Neurologist

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert care for patients with neurological disorders, including the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. In this crucial position, you’ll leverage advanced diagnostic tools and treatments to offer personalized care plans, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of neurology services. Neurologist Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert diagnosis and management of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Perform detailed neurological examinations to assess cognitive function, motor skills, sensory abilities, cranial nerves, and autonomic functions.
  • Accurately perform EMG/NCS and EEG diagnostic studies.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, and other neuroimaging studies like MRI and CT scans, to confirm diagnoses and formulate treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies for neurological conditions.
  • Provide guidance on lifestyle changes and rehabilitation efforts to improve patient health.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatment options.
  • Stay updated on advancements in neurology and related medical fields.

Nurse Practitioner

Your primary responsibility will be to provide advanced primary and/or specialty nursing care to patients in our facility. Duties will include but are not limited to, performing physical exams, recording patient medical histories, creating patient care plans, and administering diagnostic tests. You will also be administering medicines and treatments, as well as observing the patient’s response to such treatments.

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:
  • Help provide primary care to patients.
  • Perform physical exams and patient observations.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
  • Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
  • Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor and operate medical equipment.
  • Diagnose health issues.
  • Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary.
  • Administer medicines and treatments.
  • Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals.
  • Train patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.
  • Charts updated and signed off on a daily basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
