Dr. Hoda Elzawahry was raised and lived her entire life in Panama City, Florida. She is a graduate
of the Rutherford International Baccalaureate program which allowed her to attend medical school at
her father's alma mater of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.
She returned to the United States at which point she trained at the University of South Florida
in Tampa, Florida in neurology. She completed a subspeciality in neurophysiology, neuromuscular medicine,
and epilepsy at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.
She is Board Certified in Neurology and Psychiatry, Neurophysiology,
and Headache Medicine. She has special interest in multiple sclerosis and pediatric neurology. She
has returned to Bay County to be with her immediate and extended family.
